**Verses**

1. O how blessed are the poor in spirit,

the kingdom of God is theirs.

O how blessed those who dwell in sorrow,

they surely will be consoled.

2. O how blessed are the meek and lowly,

for they shall possess the earth.

O how blessed those who thirst for justice,

they surely will have their fill.

3. O how blessed are the pure of heart,

for they shall behold God’s face.

O how blessed those who mend with mercy,

forgiveness is their reward.

4. O how blessed those who fight for peace,

the children of God are they.

O how blessed those despised and hated,

who bear it because of me.

**Refrain**

Rejoice and be glad, beloved of the Lord,

the kingdom of heaven is yours.

The first shall be last, the last shall be first,

for such is the wisdom of God.

Blessed Feasts of Blessed Martyrs Lyrics

Blessed feasts of blessed martyrs,
Holy women, holy men,
With our love and admiration,
Greet we your return again.
Worthy deeds they wrought, and wonders,
Worthy of the name they bore;
We, with joyful praise and singing,
Honor them for evermore.

Faith prevailing, hope unfailing,
Loving Christ with single heart,
Thus they, glorious and victorious,
Bravely bore the martyr's part,
By contempt of ev'ry anguish,
By unyielding battle done;
Victors at the last, they triumph,
With the host of angels one.

Therefore, all that reign in glory,
Faithful heirs with Christ on high,
Join to ours your supplication
When before Christ we draw nigh,
Praying that, this life completed,
All its fleeting moments past,
By Christ's grace we may be worthy
Of eternal bliss at last.

We Will Serve Him Lyrics

We Will Serve Him

Words by: ROBERT STERLING and CHRIS MACHEN

Music by: ROBERT STERLING

Here in the presence of the Lord,

Here in this holy place, giving Him thanks

For all he does, quietly seeking his face.

So many time we've seen his hand,

Guiding each step of the way.

God put us here to make a stand,

to serve him every day.

We will serve him for the rest of our days,

We will serve him with the highest of praise.

We'll be his witness, no matter the cost.

We'll be his beacon, his light to the lost.

We will serve the Lord our God.

For the rest of our days.

He is the light at break of dawn,

He is the one true way. He is our strength

When hope is gone, he shepherds us when we stray.

God gave to us his only son, the selfless sacrifice.

How can we pay for all he's done, when Jesus paid the price?

We will serve him for the rest of our days,

We will serve him with the highest of praise.

We'll be his witness, no matter the cost.

We'll be his beacon, his light to the lost.

We will serve the Lord our God.

We will serve the Lord our God,

We will serve him for the rest of our days,

We will serve him with the highest of praise.

We'll be his witness, no matter the cost.

We'll be his beacon, his fight to the lost.

We will serve the Lord, our God for

the rest of our days.

the rest of our days.

**Lyrics:**

Lord, we offer you this gift.

The bread that grants us eternal life.

May this be blessed by Your spirit.

And receive Your grace as we eat it.

Lord, we offer You this gift.

The wine that brings us salvation.

May this be blessed by Your spirit,

And receive Your love as we drink it.

May Your body and blood, O Lord.

Save us from the depths of sin.

Grant us Your grace, O Lord.

That we may live our lives in harmony and love.

May Your body and blood, O Lord.

Save us from the depths of sin.

Grant us Your grace, O Lord.

That we may live our lives in harmony and love.

That we may live our lives in harmony and love.

Our lives in harmony and love.
